Chemical peels
Chemical peels are an effective way to exfoliate the skin to leave healthy new cells visible on the surface. They work by using ingredients to dissolve dead skin cells and clean out pores and are can be used on most skin types, including sensitive and mature. These treatments have the added benefit of being non-invasive and with little to no downtime post treatment.
At Wendover Medispa we offer the Lite Refresh Peel from the brand Epionce, developed specifically for use by trained professionals. The peel contains malic and salicylic acid as well as botanical ingredients. This light and effective peel has beneficial effects on the skin but with minimum redness and peeling aftereffects, so is a great entry level treatment for new patients and those wanting regular treatments.

Chemical peels are most effective when undertaken as a course of treatments so we offer a range of great value packages when three or six treatments are booked together as a course. Ideally the treatment should be repeated every two to four weeks as part of the course. The results of a single treatment will last for around four weeks and are ongoing for a course.
All patients are assessed for medical suitability prior to treatment.
